Sei Young Kim Leads LPGA BMW Ladies Championship with Stunning Eagle | Final Round Preview (2025)

Sei Young Kim's eagle on the 17th hole has propelled her lead to four strokes heading into the final round of the BMW Ladies Championship, after a 3-under 69 on Saturday. Despite a bogey on the 18th, Kim finished with a three-round total of 19-under 197 on a blustery, cloudy day at Pine Beach Golf Links in Haenam, South Korea. Yealimi Noh and Nasa Hataoka are tied for second, while American Brooke Matthews, who trailed Kim by a stroke after the second round, triple-bogeyed the par-3 15th and fell six strokes behind, tying for fourth place with a 74. Defending champion Hannah Green, at 11-under, is eight strokes behind Kim, tied with fellow Australian Minjee Lee, who shot 71 on Saturday. Brooke Henderson, also shooting 71, is nine strokes off the lead. This is the first of two consecutive LPGA tournaments in South Korea, with the International Crown team event next week, followed by two more LPGA events in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Japan.
